THE CHALLENGE

Health data lives in too many apps

Calories sat in one app, sleep and heart rate in the watch's app, weight on the scale's app, training in a workout log and blood tests in PDFs. None of them talked to each other, so the questions that matter most, like whether a late meal hurts sleep or whether weight lost is fat or muscle, had no answer.

The brief was a single place to log food quickly and see it side by side with everything the body was reporting, without a subscription, ads or a slow, cluttered interface.

OUR APPROACH

Fast to log, rich to read

We designed Macros around two moments: the few seconds it takes to log a meal, and the calm minute in the morning when you look at the day. Everything else is built to feed those two screens.

Logging in seconds

Food search covers branded products and generic foods, and a barcode scan fills everything in.

  • Barcode scanning straight from the phone camera
  • Open Food Facts and USDA databases, cached at the edge
  • Recent foods and saved meals one tap away

Every source, one timeline

An Android companion and import pipelines pull in what the body reports, day by day.

  • Steps, heart rate, HRV, SpO2 and sleep stages from the smartwatch
  • Body composition from the smart scale, workouts from Hevy
  • Lab results with European and Brazilian reference ranges

Scores that explain themselves

Readiness, sleep and strain are calculated against your own last 28 days, not a population average.

  • Each score shows what moved it and by how much
  • Tonight's sleep target adapts to the day's strain
  • Habit reports compare days with and without a habit

Goals you can trust

Weight goals use a smoothed trend instead of the daily scale number, and show the quality of what was lost.

  • Projected date against the pace you need
  • Streaks for logging, weigh-ins and protein
  • Fat versus muscle breakdown of every kilo lost

THE PRODUCT

Designed for the phone, at home on the desktop
